II.  Licensure

The licensure programs at Illinois are approved by the Illinois State Board of Education, are annually reviewed by the state board, and are in good standing.  In order to be entitled for licensure in Illinois, candidates must complete an approved program and meet additional licensing training, testing, and assessment requirements.  The policies in this section outline the licensure expectations for licensure candidates.
