World Language Subsequent Endorsement

An initial World Language (or Foreign Language) endorsement requires the completion of 18 hours of content area coursework as well as passing the corresponding World Language content test.   Click here for testing information.

A World Language content test may be waived if you hold an Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy or the Global Seal of Biliteracy in the language endorsement sought.  Click here for more information about the State and Global Seals of Biliteracy.

Additional World Language endorsements require only the passage of the content test as long as requirements for one world language endorsement have already been met.
